Trainee Seaman
Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) was established in 1954 by ports Act (Cap 155 of the law of the Federation of Nigeria - amended 1999) as an operating port with the responsibility of providing all port services. It was initially responsible for two major ports in Lagos and Port Harcourt, and in 1969 became responsible for all other ports.

Qualifications
- Applicants must possess a minimum of five credits in Science subjects obtained in not more than two sittings. The required credits must include English Language and Mathematics in the West African Senior School Certificate Examination or an equivalent qualification. The advert states that applicants should have obtained their certificates within the required period specified in the recruitment announcement. Knowledge of ICT will be an added advantage.
