About the Role Jones Day’s Amsterdam Office offers paid internships and trainee opportunities for law students from Dutch universities in the final year of their LL.B. or LL.M., as well as trainees aiming to build a career as international lawyers. The role provides exposure to cross-border transactional and disputes work within an integrated global firm and includes formal training from day one. What You'll Do
- Complete paid internships in a variety of practices, assigned to a team of lawyers or a specific project in the Amsterdam Office.
- Attend internal training programs and seminars, and participate in the firm-wide training initiatives (New Lawyer Academy) to develop professional and cross-border skills.
- Work under a partner’s supervision as part of an interdisciplinary team, contributing to client matters and gaining initial experience in Jones Day’s global platform.
- Participate in The Netherlands Bar Association’s formal training program and the Jones Day training program as part of the Trainee experience. What We're Looking For
- For Trainee Students: law students from Dutch universities in the final year of LL.B. or LL.M. seeking practical experience.
