Trading Performance Engineer

What You Will Do
- Identify and implement solutions that focus on optimizing and improving the overall performance of our trading stack, utilizing low-latency technologies like microwave links and FPGAs
- Capture and evaluate network data, develop prototypes for performance solutions, and automate processes
- Use data-driven insights to enhance trading results, reverse engineer systems; design and perform statistical experiments to interpret emerging real-world observations
- Investigate latency issues and bottlenecks. Be a key advisor to our Trading department on recommended technology setups that will further improve trading performance
- Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve latency issues and improve overall system efficiency
- Identify, analyze and test the potential of various new technologies that can be included in our infrastructure and provide clear justification to the business for implementation
What You Need to Succeed
- MSc or BSc in Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline
- 5+ years of relevant experience in a similar industry
- Relevant experience in covering Chinese Equity Market
- Strong background in computer internals, networking, and Linux systems
- Programming experience in Python and/or C++
- Experience in system-level performance tuning, data analysis, and understanding of low-latency hardware
- Proactive personality, with a scientific-thinking and solution-oriented mindset
- Excellent communication capabilities, able to present complex data and communicate technical concepts to various stakeholders clearly
- Interest or experience with trading and reverse engineering is a plus
