About the Role Marex is seeking a Trade Support Team Lead to be a senior member of the Chicago desk. You will provide 1st and 2nd line support for front office trading and market data systems, manage user and account setups, and coordinate between technology and business groups. The role supports global trading platforms and acts as the primary point of contact for clients, brokers, and Marex on trading needs. What You'll Do
- Provide first- and second-line support for all global trading platforms to Marex's internal and external clients.
- Handle user and account administration, including risk-limited adjustments with Risk team approval.
- Assist with system outage management to minimize impact on client trades.
- Liaise between technology and business groups to communicate changes and improvements.
- Review manual processes, identify automation opportunities, and support ongoing efficiency initiatives.
- Maintain shift coverage roughly 7:00am - 5:30pm (8.5 hours) Monday–Friday, with occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ensure compliance with SEC, FINRA, NFA, CFTC and exchange rules; uphold Marex Code of Conduct.
- Carry out regulatory activities under Marex Financial and MSIL trading books and liaise with US clients (banks, hedge funds, market makers, fund managers, institutional traders). What We're Looking For
- At least 2 years’ experience with front-end systems and admin tools (Fidessa, TT, Stellar, CQG, WebIce, CME Direct, etc.)
- At least 2 years’ experience dealing with global exchanges (ICE, CME, Eurex, etc.)
- At least 1 year’ experience in exchange connectivity for global derivatives, commodity, cash, and equity markets
- Excellent working knowledge of database queries and Excel for compliance audits and reporting
- Minimum 1 year experience onboarding clients for both FIX and bespoke API protocols
- Working knowledge of FIX Messaging Protocol with at least 6 months hands-on
- Dynamic, proactive, calm under pressure with strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt to changing electronic trading environments; strong problem solving and risk awareness
- Comfortable liaising with a US client base including banks, hedge funds, market makers, fund managers and trading houses Nice to Have Compensation & Benefits
