About the Role In 2025 we became part of Marex, a diversified global financial services platform. We operate across Europe and North America with offices in London, Milan, Madrid, and Toronto to help clients manage currency risk. We are seeking a Trade Operations Analyst to support end-to-end trade checking, reconciliation, and post-trade activities within our FX/OTC operations. What You'll Do
- Manage end-to-end trade checking and reconciliation processes, proactively identifying and resolving discrepancies while ensuring accurate data across trading platforms.
- Coordinate with Front Office, Back Office, and Payments teams to meet daily settlement deadlines, currency cut-offs, and support smooth trade execution.
- Oversee key post-trade activities—including Options processing, expiries, margin monitoring, and client trade administration—while resolving trade-related issues.
- Timely and proactive management of the trade checking process, finding and resolving problems or discrepancies.
- Use both forward-looking and retrospective trade checks to ensure back office/settlements can reconcile previous days and months.
- Work with Front and Back Office to ensure daily settlement deadlines and currency cut-offs are met.
- Ensure data is accurate across the different platforms used by front office.
- Work with individual dealers and their clients to trade client positions, send contract notes and trade confirmations, confirm beneficiary details and complete trade administration as required.
- Completion of the Options post-trade process and generation of options term sheets.
- Perform Option Trade expiry monitoring and processing.
- Investigate and resolve problems or errors with trades for either front or back office.
- Monitor margin calls and client positions.
- Prioritize daily tasks and new tasks appropriately.
- Work with our Payments team to ensure trades get executed and delivered accurately. What We're Looking For
- Fluent Spanish & English; Italian language skills are a strong advantage.
- Ability to work on-site five days per week.
- Strong proficiency in Excel, including data analysis and reporting; meticulous attention to detail.
- Experience with OTC and FX products; background in FX industry.
- Previous experience in an Analyst role; ability to support operations effectively.
- Flexible and adaptable; able to multi-task.
- Ability to work well under pressure; excellent time management and ability to meet strict deadlines.
- At least 2 years’ experience. Nice to Have
