About the Role ANDRITZ is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Trade Compliance Analyst to join our North American Trade Compliance team. In this role, you will help ensure the accurate classification of products for import and export activities while supporting compliance across a complex global manufacturing and engineering environment. This position offers the opportunity to work with cross-functional teams across Supply Chain, Engineering, Sales, Project Management, and Quality while developing expertise in international trade regulations, customs compliance, and product classification strategies.

What You'll Do

  • Ensure accurate classification of products for import and export activities.
  • Support compliance across a complex global manufacturing and engineering environment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Supply Chain, Engineering, Sales, Project Management, and Quality.
  • Develop expertise in international trade regulations, customs compliance, and product classification strategies.
  • Maintain knowledge of HTS/HS codes, ECCNs, Incoterms, and applicable Free Trade Agreements.
  • Assist with customs audits and broker management activities.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, International Trade, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 3+ years of experience in trade compliance, customs compliance, product classification, or related discipline
  • Working knowledge of HTS Classification, Harmonized System (HS) Codes, Schedule B Classifications, ECCNs, Import and Export Regulations, Incoterms, Free Trade Agreements
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; exceptional attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

Nice to Have

  • Experience with SAP Global Trade Services (SAP GTS) or similar trade compliance systems
  • Customs or trade compliance certifications
  • Experience using U.S. Customs ACE data
  • Familiarity with customs audits and broker management
  • Manufacturing, industrial, engineering, or project-based business experience
  • Experience with Power BI, Access, or other data visualization and reporting tools
