About the Role Lead the Certification and Validation activities for the Traction level during project execution. Commit and manage QCD for Certification and Validation. You will coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with standards and deliver validated traction systems for projects and bids. What You'll Do
- Lead Certification and Validation activities for the Traction level during project execution, and manage QCD for Certification and Validation.
- Promote continuous improvement initiatives within the team and implement standard processes, methodologies, and tools to ensure CV efficiency.
- Develop the Traction Validation Plan and the Traction Validation Management Plan with the Traction Validation Skill Leader at tender level.
- Ensure timely issue of Validation proofs (including Parts Validation and Test Bench achievement) and consolidate Validation files; provide structured REX for costing and CV repository.
- Review Parts Validation Plan sections relevant to Traction Test Bench level or Train level and decide acceptance or rejection as appropriate.
- Manage the Traction level validation activities, create and maintain the Validation Plan, and lead the CV project team.
- Approve and review Traction Test Procedures and reports; manage the validation schedule to align with design maturity and test means availability. What We're Looking For
- Fluent in English (minimum B2)
- Experience in team and project management: 1 to 3 years depending on team size
- Traction system knowledge (system analysis, railways): at least 2 years
- Tests organization capability, knowledge of planning tools
- Knowledge of Standards & Regulation
- Knowledge of Work Package Management
- Electrical habilitation level, for instance (French definitions): B2V - B2V Essai - BE Essais - BR - BC H2V - H2V Essais - HE Essais – HC
