Job title: Track Manager - Network LAN/WAN
About the Role Track Manager responsible for DC technologies focusing on Cisco Nexus, VXLAN, and related LAN/WAN networking. Requires 7-8 years of experience in Cisco Nexus, VXLAN and DC environments with ability to design, implement and troubleshoot; CCNA/CCNP, CCIE advantageous.
What You'll Do
- Work on Cisco Nexus, VXLAN, Cisco Routing/Switching, Cisco Wireless/DNAC, Cisco ACI in data center environments.
- Design, implement, and troubleshoot DC networking solutions; upgrade firmware at hardware level and patches at software level; manage ITSM incidents, changes and problems within SLA.
- Build/configure Versa and Wireless network technologies including standalone/stacked routers and switches, Nexus switches, Infoblox DDI, Firewalls, Controllers and AVI/F5 load balancers.
- Ensure network connectivity between different IT systems and sites, on Prem or Azure/AWS/GCP cloud.
- Understand routing protocols like BGP, OSPF, ISIS, VXLAN; IPsec, GRE, MPLS; security concepts such as content filtering, threat protection, firewalls, VPNs, NAT, port forwarding.
- Create Runbooks, SOPs, network diagrams, PPTs and reports for reactive, proactive and predictive analysis; resolve incidents and restore services within SLA.
- Collaborate across teams and levels of staff; learn new technologies quickly; work independently yet in a team.
What We're Looking For
- 7-8 years of experience in Cisco Nexus, VXLAN, and DC environments; design, implement and troubleshoot skills.
- Certifications: CCNA, CCNP; CCIE advantageous.
- Technical skills: Versa (mandatory); Wireless networks; Nexus switches; Infoblox DDI; Firewall; AVI/F5 load balancers; on-prem and cloud connectivity (Azure/AWS/GCP).
- Proficiency in routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, ISIS, VXLAN); IPsec, GRE, MPLS; security concepts and NAT/VPN; firmware upgrades; ITSM and SLA adherence.
- Non-technical: strong communication, documentation, ability to learn new technologies, self-starter, team player, analytical and problem-solving.
Nice to Have
- Experience managing Financial Services customers.
- CCIE certification.
