Tooling Technician / Mold Making Support
Our manufacturing client in the Seacoast NH area is seeking to hire a Tooling Technician / Mold Making Support professional. This is a hands-on opportunity to work closely with an experienced tooling team, supporting the maintenance, assembly, and finishing of precision molds used in advanced manufacturing. Your qualifications for the Tooling Technician / Mold Making Support position are:
- 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing tool room or similar machining environment
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and assembly diagrams
- Experience operating manual machining equipment such as mills, lathes, or grinders
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills
- Positive attitude with a dependable work ethic
- CNC machining, CNC programming, or welding experience is a plus
For the Tooling Technician / Mold Making Support position, your duties and responsibilities will include:
- Clean, polish, assemble, maintain, and repair precision molds and tooling components
- Perform manual machining operations to modify, repair, or fabricate tooling parts
- Assist with mold finishing and assembly following CNC machining processes
- Inspect tooling for quality, accuracy, and proper functionality
- Support tooling and manufacturing teams with troubleshooting and continuous improvement efforts
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area
