About the Role As Tooling Supervisor you will drive excellence in our tooling function for extrusion production. You’ll supervise 4+ technicians and ensure tooling readiness, quality, and on-time delivery to production and customers. What You'll Do
- Schedule, monitor, and perform tool cleaning and inspection activities and preventive maintenance for extrusion tooling and associated equipment.
- Manage work assignments for all team members and provide guidance on standard work and best practices to accomplish the workload.
- Ensure proper assembly of tooling components and pre-assemblies to support SMED.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and improve tooling to meet production needs and customer expectations of cost, quality, and delivery.
- Identify, procure, and maintain critical spare parts inventory to prevent production disruptions.
