Required Qualifications:
- Must have a BS in engineering or 5 years of related experience.
- Tooling experience required.
- Excellent English communication skills both oral and written.
- Excellent organizational skills with dedication to quality.
- Knowledge in computer software for Windows, Auto-CAD or CAD equivalent
- Knowledge of IATF16949 and APQP processes
Responsibilities
-
Preparation of "tooling method plan" packages for quotation of new business proposals on an assigned
-
project.
-
Provides Tool follow-up for new programs.
-
Works closely with manufacturing, quality, & production tooling group to ensure die build will meet the
-
plant's specific needs.
-
Maintains tooling progress with vendors to make sure die delivery is on-time & with-in budget.
-
Receive, review and disseminate supplier quotation packages.
-
Basic knowledge of materials and specifications for assigned project.
-
Knowledge of assigned manufacturing facilities capabilities and limitations.
-
Work closely with product design and manufacturing to support DFM&A concerns including GD&T at
-
both the assembly and detail levels.

Maintain up-to-date:
-
Quote support documentation.
-
Current die method plans.
-
Manufacturing concern issues
-
Travel to Martinrea facilities and integrators to support tooling build, buy off and aid in the integration at
-
the manufacturing facility up to and through program launch.

Execute Material Reduction Initiatives.
-
Responsible for development of press set-up documents.
-
Responsible for working with EHS to ensure all safety protocols are being met/followed.
-
Competency Level 3 understanding of all advanced processes and interactions as determined by the
-
leadership team.
