Job Summary

Tool & Die Maker Compensation & Benefits:
- $26 to $38 – based on experience
- Day shift hours: 7 AM to 3:30 PM

Tool & Die Maker Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 4 years of experience using manual mills, lathes, and surface grinders
- Strong blueprint reading and technical drawing interpretation skills
- Experience with precision measuring equipment
- Excellent mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
- High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
- Tool & Die apprenticeship or formal technical training
- Technical degree or certification in Tool & Die
- CNC programming and machining experience
- Wire EDM and sinker EDM experience
- Experience building custom tooling, fixtures, molds, or dies
Tool & Die Maker Job Duties:
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD models
- Build, repair, and maintain precision tools, dies, molds, fixtures, jigs, and gauges
- Operate manual lathes, mills, grinders, and other precision machining equipment
- Assemble, fit, and adjust tooling components to exact specifications
- Test completed tooling to ensure quality, accuracy, and performance
- Modify existing tooling to improve functionality or support engineering changes
- Inspect finished work using precision measuring instruments
- Troubleshoot tooling issues and perform repairs as needed
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area
