Tool and Die Maker

About the Role CNH Industrial N.V. is seeking a Tool and Die Maker to layout, construct, alter and repair tools, dies, fixtures, gauges, machines, and equipment. This role supports customer success by delivering high-quality, precise components and tooling. The position is onsite with a shift from 2:30pm to 11:00pm, with a $2.00/hour shift differential. What You'll Do

• Follow prescribed safety standards, PPE usage, emergency plans and EH&S policy.
• Identify unsafe acts and conditions by completing observation cards.
• Maintain 5S by organizing tools and ensuring each item has a dedicated, labeled home.
• Monitor for abnormalities in processes, machine operation, product quality, and logistics; alert Team Leader or Supervisor as needed.
• Complete CILR activities, identify deficiencies and contamination sources, and implement countermeasures.
• Work from blueprints, tables, specifications, and data to lay out and inspect machined, welded, or formed parts and materials.
• Recognize and report blueprint or drawing errors that could affect function.
• Perform difficult machining operations with tight tolerances using a range of set-ups and methods.
• Use precision measuring instruments (verniers, micrometers, calipers, surface plate, hardness tester, CMM) to verify close tolerances.
• Perform bench work including filing, scraping, lapping, grinding, fitting, finishing. What We're Looking For
• Experience laying out and performing machining and inspection to close tolerances.
• Ability to read blueprints, specifications, and data; identify and correct errors.
• Proficiency with precision measuring tools: verniers, micrometers, calipers, surface plate, hardness tester, CMM.
• Strong bench skills: filing, scraping, lapping, grinding, fitting, finishing.
• Commitment to safety, 5S, and EH&S policies.
• Ability to work the onsite shift (2:30pm–11:00pm) and collaborate in a team environment. Nice to Have
• Prior experience as a machinist or tool and die maker.
• Familiarity with CILR contamination control activities. Compensation & Benefits
