About the Role The Tilles Center Student Stage Crew assists in mounting events and productions at Tilles Center. This role supports setup and breakdown of performances, prepares the theater for upcoming events, and assists with lighting and general maintenance to keep the theater safe and operational. You will work across multiple venues and spaces on campus.
What You'll Do
- Assist in Load In and Load Out for performances.
- Prepare the lighting plot (light hang) and related tasks.
- Help with changeovers and theater preparations for events.
- Perform a variety of maintenance and show tasks to maintain an operational and safe theater.
- Support activities across multiple venues and spaces throughout the campus.
What We're Looking For
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Backstage theater experience preferred.
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs.
- Working indoors in theaters, auditoriums and backstage spaces; loading and unloading of trucks outdoors in parking lots adjacent to the Tilles Center.
- Basic hand tools and power tools knowledge; ability to handle hand trucks, dollies, ladders, and theater lighting and sound equipment.
Nice to Have
- Backstage theater experience preferred.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $17 per hour.
