Volt is immediately hiring TIG Welder in Clarksville TN
As a Customer Service Representative, you will:
- Be comfortable with TIG welding carbon and stainless-steel pipe.
- Be comfortable with welding couplings, outlets, and fittings.
- Be comfortable with pipe fabrication and spool assembly.
- Be comfortable with inspecting weld quality and pipe alignment.
- Be comfortable with using tape measures and basic tools.
- Be comfortable with maintaining a safe and clean work area.
- Be comfortable with following safety and quality standards.
- Be comfortable with reporting equipment and safety issues.
- Be comfortable with working in a team environment.
- Be comfortable with completing basic documentation and training.
- Be comfortable with weld testing and quality inspections.
This is a full time, Contract opportunity.
The ideal candidate will have:
- 3-5 years of TIG welding and fabrication experience.
- Experience welding carbon steel and stainless-steel pipes.
- Perform pipe-to-pipe welding with minimal supervision.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience with MIG welding.
- Experience fabricating spool pieces and industrial piping systems.
- Familiarity with manufacturing or pipe fabrication environments.
Pay Rate: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour.
