Job Description
TIG Welder
Our manufacturing client is looking for an experienced TIG Welder for their team! You’ll work on a wide variety of general sheet metal fabrication jobs at the company’s Dover, NH facility.
Responsibilities of the TIG Welder
- Set up and operate MIG and TIG welding equipment
- Select correct tooling and fixtures and adjust equipment as needed
- Ensure parts are manufactured to specifications and meet or exceed strict quality standards
- Maintain machinery
- Keep work area clean and organized
- Follow all safety procedures
- Perform other tasks as required
Qualifications of the TIG Welder
- Weld (MIG/TIG) experience required; 2-5 years of experience preferred (training will be provided for the right candidate)
- Ability to learn laser and plasma welding
- Welding certification a plus
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, job aids, and shop orders
- Ability to use measuring instruments such as verniers and gauges and use equipment to identify metal types and thicknesses
- Basic shop math skills
This TIG Welder role offers $30-$35/hour, depending on experience, with awesome benefits upon hire for the right candidate.
