About the Role EchoStar is reimagining the future of connectivity through satellite television, streaming, and mobile services. As a Ticketing Application Developer II, you will help scale our Customer Experience Operations (CXO) infrastructure by architecting ticketing and provisioning systems that route customer requests quickly and accurately. You will bridge complex data environments with front‑end service needs to reduce friction and empower service representatives.
What You'll Do
- Architect ticketing applications and internal domains to ensure high-speed resolution, automated user provisioning, and optimized routing logic.
- Design high-performance data extraction workflows across relational and non-relational databases to support real-time operational visibility.
- Implement innovative case management enhancements that support CXO department OKRs for reliability and response time reductions.
- Create comprehensive technical documentation of ticketing flows, database schemas, and automation logic to facilitate team scalability.
- Modernize deployment pipelines with automated build and test cycles to improve the stability of interface enhancements.
- Explore AI-driven automation strategies, such as intelligent ticket classification or sentiment-based routing, to increase overall operational efficiency.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- Significant professional experience in application development with a focus on case management or ticketing architectures.
- Advanced proficiency in Python and JavaScript.
- Strategic expertise in API design and development, including secure deployment of internal service interfaces.
- Deep technical knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and AWS Athena for complex data interpretation.
- Experience with building and maintaining automated CI/CD pipelines.
- Ability to synthesize requirements from diverse stakeholders into actionable IT development plans; strong collaboration skills.
- Full lifecycle application development experience with the ability to prioritize independently in high-stakes environments.
- AI literacy and the ability to identify opportunities for AI application within internal workflows to drive innovation.
Nice to Have
- Experience with AI-driven automation strategies such as intelligent ticket classification or sentiment-based routing.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $63,150.00 - $90,000.00 per year (USD).
