About the Role Threat Informed Defense Senior Manager is a leadership role within Accenture Security, focused on turning threat intelligence into actionable defensive outcomes across global security stacks and client environments. You will own the capability to structure, normalize, and operationalize threat data to drive detection, hunting, and response. What You'll Do

  • Lead, influence, and execute the core technical and engineering aspects of a global cyber threat intelligence program.
  • Define data structures and consumption patterns across TIP, SIEM, SOAR, and EDR.
  • Assess client and program defenses; recommend improvements; implement architecture and standards for machine-consumable intelligence at enterprise scale.
  • Govern analytic and engineering tradecraft; structure threat intelligence programs; shorten the gap between adversary action and defensive response.
  • Travel as needed (0-100%). What We're Looking For
  • Minimum 10 years of experience across cyber threat intelligence, threat-informed defense, detection engineering, threat hunting, or security operations; depth in at least two areas.
  • Minimum 5 years leading technical teams; second-line leadership.
  • Minimum 5 years experience with TIP, SIEM, SOAR, and EDR; how intelligence and detection content is operationalized.
  • Minimum 5 years hands-on with structured threat data and MITRE ATT&CK; modeling threat actors, campaigns, TTPs, malware, infrastructure.
  • Minimum 5 years experience defining or governing data structures or normalization standards across tools/teams.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent; Associate’s degree with 6+ years work experience acceptable.
  • Strong written and verbal communication; ability to brief executives and stakeholders.
  • Professional experience in security domain; relevant degree or equivalent experience. Nice to Have
  • Advanced degree in computer science, cybersecurity, data engineering, or related disciplines.
  • Experience designing/owning central data model, data fabric, or common data schema for security/intelligence.
  • Familiarity with threat-informed defense methodologies and frameworks (MITRE ATT&CK, D3FEND, MITRE Threat-Informed Defense) and STIX/TAXII.
  • Experience in MxDR/MDR or incident response consulting at global scale.
  • Telemetry across diverse data sources; regulatory contexts (NIS2, DORA); certifications (GCTI, GREM, GCFA, GDAT, GCDA, CISSP).
  • Published threat research or open-source contributions. Compensation & Benefits
