Job title: Therapeutic Horse Experience Facilitator
About the Role The Therapeutic Horse Experience program is an unmounted teaching approach focused on mastering horsemanship skills to achieve therapeutic outcomes. This role supports delivering tailored curriculums for individuals or groups, facilitating growth, achievement and personal development. Sessions are led by an UpReach PATH Intl. Certified ESMHL/EAGALA equine specialist and do not require riding or prior horse experience.
What You'll Do
- Facilitate unmounted Therapeutic Horse Experience sessions for individuals or groups.
- Develop and tailor curriculums to meet participants' goals and support growth and personal development.
- Create a safe, engaging environment and collaborate with the UpReach equine specialist to ensure therapeutic outcomes.
- Communicate progress and adapt activities as needed; no riding is involved and no prior horse experience is required.
What We're Looking For
- Interest in therapeutic education or equine-assisted activities.
- Able to lead non-riding experiences and adapt activities for individuals or groups.
- Strong communication and ability to support growth and development through tailored curriculums.
Nice to Have
- PATH Intl. certification (ESMHL) or EAGALA experience is a plus.
