About this role
The Hearing Ambassador at NationsBenefits works on-site at the Sam's Club Hearing Aid Center in Phoenix, AZ. This role supports the licensed dispenser in meeting goals and daily duties by engaging customers, supporting hearing health needs, educating individuals about hearing wellness, scheduling appointments, and contributing to growth through community outreach and strengthened customer relationships.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a working knowledge of all Hearing Aid Center (HAC) products and services.
- Set the stage for a full test and a full purchase when interacting with Members.
- Complete 30–50 outbound calls daily to prospective and/or existing customers.
- Secure a minimum of four immediate or scheduled full hearing tests daily for the hearing aid specialist or audiologist working in the center.
- Promote and sell non-hearing-aid products when Members engaged with do not have a hearing loss.
- Support a 50% increase in non-hearing-aid product sales.
- Learn and use the handheld screener (as allowed by state regulations) and use it as an intercepting tool to obtain qualified leads.
- Assist, when necessary, in calling past tested Members, with or without sales and medical referrals, to schedule return visits.
- Promote HAC during Sam’s Club events, Hearing Aid Center events, and potentially outside marketing events.
- Be based in HAC but spend approximately 95% of the time walking/working in the club, intercepting, and setting tests.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong customer service, sales, or retail experience.
- Experience working with PC hardware and software, including general computer and Internet knowledge.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as organizational, problem-solving/troubleshooting, and presentation abilities.
- Previous experience with patient/customer appointment scheduling.
- Proficiency with basic computer systems and scheduling software.
