About this role
The Hearing Ambassador at NationsBenefits works on-site at the Sam’s Club Hearing Aid Center in Oklahoma City. The role supports the licensed dispenser by engaging customers, addressing hearing health needs, educating individuals about hearing wellness, scheduling appointments, and contributing to growth through community outreach and strong customer relationships.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a working knowledge of all Hearing Aid Center products and services.
- Set the stage for full testing and potential purchase when interacting with Members.
- Complete 30-50 outbound calls daily to prospective and/or existing customers.
- Secure a minimum of four immediate or scheduled full hearing tests daily for the hearing aid specialist or audiologist in the center.
- Promote and sell non-hearing-aid products when Members engaged do not have hearing loss.
- Aim for a 50% increase in non-hearing-aid product sales.
- Learn and use the handheld screener (as allowed by state regulations) and use it as an intercepting tool to generate qualified leads.
- Assist when necessary by contacting past tested Members, with or without sales, and medical referrals to schedule return visits.
- Promote the Hearing Aid Center during Sam’s Club events, HAC events, and other marketing activities.
- Work primarily in the HAC but spend about 95% of time moving through the club to intercept, set tests, and engage Members.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong customer service, sales, or retail experience.
- Experience working with PC hardware and software, including general computer and Internet knowledge.
- Excellent oral and written communication, organizational, problem-solving/troubleshooting, and presentation skills.
- Prior experience with patient/customer appointment scheduling.
- Proficiency with basic computer systems and scheduling software.
