What you’ll achieve
As a Senior Test Engineer, you will develop and document test plans for newly developed or current hardware and solutions products. You will partner with a test team during test execution and report results to development engineers and leadership. You will also create test plans that include resource requirements based on inputs from Development and Marketing. Finally, you will work with external validation partners to develop comprehensive test plans and test coverage across multiple test organizations.
Responsibilities
- Define and implements new test methodologies to reduce test time and increase test coverage
- Implement a continuous improvement process for test plans, test cases, and automation during and after test projects
- Evaluate effectiveness of test plan and assess test methodologies to reduce test time and increase test coverage
- Communicate and partner with test technicians in the execution of test plans
- Manage use of automation and test tools and identify opportunities for process improvement where possible, and develop and execute test automation scripts

Essential Requirements

5 to 8 years of related experience

Solid understanding of hardware and software system architecture and interactions and should be able to apply it to resolve issues

Enthusiastic about learning new tools, languages and operating systems

Proficient in reading and understanding technical data sheets
