Test Lead (Manual) - Remote (Mexico)

About the Role VALCE T@lent Solutions is seeking a Test Lead (Manual) to oversee QA activities for complex web applications from Mexico. This role focuses on leading QA across the software testing lifecycle with an emphasis on backend database validation, SQL testing, data integrity, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure high-quality software delivery. What You'll Do

• Lead and coordinate all QA activities across the software testing life cycle, including requirement analysis, test planning, design, execution, defect tracking, and closure.
• Develop, review, and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts focused on backend database validation and integration.
• Perform advanced backend testing scenarios such as database validation, SQL query testing, data integrity, performance, and security testing.
• Collaborate with development, product management, and operations teams to identify, analyze, and resolve defects effectively.
• Monitor and report testing progress, metrics, and quality status to project stakeholders.
• Implement and enforce QA best practices and standards aligned with industry norms and organizational policies.
• Lead the end-to-end quality assurance process for complex web applications through rigorous exploratory, functional, and regression testing.
• Bring 8-10 years of experience in software quality assurance with a focus on backend testing and databases. What We're Looking For

• Very strong knowledge of SQL; experienced in SQL query testing, data validation, and data integrity.
• Proven ability to lead QA activities across the software testing lifecycle and coordinate with development, product management, and operations teams.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; comfortable reporting progress to stakeholders.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Located in Mexico and able to work in a fully remote environment. Nice to Have
• Experience working in remote or distributed teams.
• QA leadership or mentoring experience.
• Familiarity with performance and security testing.
