Job title: Test Lead
About the Role The iDM Test Lead at BorgWarner will be primarily responsible for e-motor and GB test standard development and DVP&R release, and will lead test data analysis and the creation of general test reports. The role also involves test setup, commissioning, and establishing eDrive test capability including motor and gearbox.
What You'll Do
- Develop e-motor and GB test standards and test methods, draft verification processes, write test specifications and general test reports.
- Develop comprehensive test plans including test lists, timing, and locations; negotiate and align internal and customer requirements.
- Determine Function, Vibration, and Durability test profiles necessary to demonstrate customer reliability/confidence requirements; obtain customer sign-off; own and manage the overall schedule.
- Lead the resolution of problems during the test process and collaborate with R&D to optimize designs.
- Lead the review of all test results, data, and summaries; organize all single reports and prepare internal and customer reports.
- Drive the establishment of eDrive test capability and contribute to test setup and commissioning activities.
- Manage and coordinate test-related activities to ensure on-time delivery of test plans and results.

- Ability to develop and implement test plans, methods, and verification processes; strong data analysis and reporting skills.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration with R&D, internal stakeholders, and customers; ability to drive sign-off and manage schedules.
- Problem-solving mindset with a track record of leading test-related troubleshooting and design optimization.
