Your responsibilities
- Monitor and optimize tester productivity, yield, and false call rates to meet defined KPIs.
- Provide maintenance and support for RF testers and related instruments focusing on 4G/5G technology.
- Manage tester changeovers, including IC programming and unit test adjustments to align with customer requirements.
- Contribute to spare parts management and address critical shortages to reduce equipment downtime.
- Participate in new product introduction (NPI) and mass production tester installations, ensuring compliance with test plans.
- Engage in troubleshooting and calibration of RF testers, enhancing performance and uptime.
- Mentor and guide shift engineers while collaborating with local and global teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Prepare and present summary reports on tester performance and improvement projects.
Your skills and experience
Must-Have:
- Bachelor’s/Diploma degree in Electronics/Telecommunications
- 3 plus years of experience in the manufacturing & Electronics industry
- Hands-on experience supporting global teams for tester installation and breakdown issues
- Familiarity with handling Test & Measuring equipment
- Expertise in troubleshooting tester issues, particularly RF filters and TRX PCBA
Nice-To-Have:
- Familiarity with managing test instrument calibration cycles
- Experience in preparing executive summary and MIS reports
- Knowledge of lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies
- Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Leadership and team development capabilities
