About this role
Test Engineer
In this role, you will plan and execute validation activities for new and existing automotive electronic products. You will help ensure that DV/PV, annual requalification, and ECN validation testing is completed according to agreed test plans and customer requirements.
Our Team
You will join the Quality team and report to the Lab Supervisor. The team partners with AQP, R&D, cross-functional teams, customers, and laboratory technicians to deliver reliable product-validation results.
What You Will Do
Develop cost-effective design validation and product validation (DV/PV) approaches for new-project RFQs.
Create DV/PV test plans and support AQP in aligning the plans with customers.
Design and develop validation fixtures and jigs.
Conduct validation testing according to approved test plans and prepare test reports.
Provide technical support to cross-functional teams throughout validation activities.
Support AQP in customer communications related to validation requirements and results.
Develop work instructions and train validation technicians.
Complete additional assignments from the Lab Supervisor.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
Bachelor's degree or above in an engineering-related field.
At least 5 years of experience in automotive product validation.
Knowledge of validation specifications from automotive OEM customers.
Hands-on experience operating general test equipment, including temperature and humidity chambers, thermal shock chambers, and vibration testers.
Strong written and spoken Chinese and English communication skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with a high level of accountability.
Willingness to learn new testing knowledge and capabilities, including RF and EMC testing.
