Job title: Test Engineer
About the Role Join Booz Allen Hamilton as a Test Engineer to validate software using formal automated testing across telephony and networking hardware spanning multiple platforms. You will perform baseline, integration, system, and regression testing in support of research and development efforts, and analyze large log data sets and test results while documenting findings clearly.
What You'll Do
- Test software following a formal automated testing method using various telephony and networking hardware spanning multiple hardware platforms.
- Perform baseline, integration, system, and regression level testing in support of research and development efforts.
- Analyze large log data sets and software test data; document results in a clear and concise manner.
- Set up hardware and software, enable remote connectivity.
- Develop and execute automated test scripts and create test cases and procedures.
What We're Looking For
- 1+ years of experience with automated testing, developing and executing test scripts to perform system testing, and analyzing results.
- Experience creating test cases and procedures.
- Experience developing with Python.
- Experience setting up hardware and software and enabled remote connectivity.
- TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph.
- HS diploma or GED.
Nice to Have
- Experience developing and building multiple lab environments.
- Experience working in a Linux environment.
- Experience working in an Agile environment.
- Experience working with Git.
- Knowledge of Splunk.
- Knowledge of Jenkins or other continuous integration frameworks.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $86,900 to $198,000 (annualized USD).
