About the Role We are seeking a QA Automation Engineer to lead automated testing initiatives for complex applications. The ideal candidate has 8–10 years total experience, with 5–8 years in test automation and at least 3 years of Java development. You will design, implement, and maintain Java-based automation scripts and frameworks using Selenium, Cucumber, and UFT, and collaborate across Agile and Waterfall SDLC teams. What You'll Do
- Build and maintain Java-based automation frameworks using Selenium, Cucumber, and UFT.
- Develop API test suites and validate services with Rest Assured.
- Implement tests with Cucumber and TestNG (and/or JUnit), ensuring strong OOP practices and effective debugging.
- Leverage Bitbucket, Maven, and ANT for source control and build management; integrate with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Git).
- Work closely with QA, Development, and DevOps to ensure test coverage and timely delivery.
- Use QA tools such as Octane, JIRA, and HP ALM for planning, tracking, and reporting defects.
- Contribute to framework development to enable scalable, reusable test assets and robust automation. What We're Looking For
- 8–10 years total software testing experience; 5–8 years in test automation; minimum 3 years of Java development.
- Hands-on with Cucumber, Selenium, UFT; strong OOP concepts, debugging, and problem-solving.
- Familiarity with JUnit and TestNG; experience with Bitbucket, Maven, ANT; SDLC knowledge (Agile, Waterfall).
- Knowledge of QA processes and tools such as Octane, JIRA, HP ALM.
- API testing experience with Rest Assured; framework development using Cucumber and TestNG.
- CI/CD experience using Jenkins and Git.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills; client-centric mindset and ability to work in a team.
- Mandatory skill: Selenium. Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $60,000–$135,000 per year.
