About the Role Senior Test and Evaluation Engineer to support Edwards AFB, focusing on planning, executing, and analyzing verification and validation activities for aerospace systems. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure mission readiness and performance across complex platforms. What You'll Do
- Develop and execute test plans, procedures, and evaluation criteria for aerospace systems at Edwards AFB.
- Perform data collection, analysis, and reporting to inform program decisions.
- Collaborate with systems engineers, software teams, and flight test personnel to identify test requirements and validation criteria.
- Ensure compliance with DoD/air force test standards, safety requirements, documentation, and risk assessment.
- Support flight/test campaigns and provide technical briefings to stakeholders. What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline; advanced degree preferred.
- 6-12+ years of experience in test and evaluation, systems engineering, or related roles.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency with data analysis tools (e.g., MATLAB, Python) and test instrumentation.
- DoD/air force experience, prior flight test or lab testing experience; security clearance is a plus but not required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to work on-site at Edwards AFB. Nice to Have
- Active DoD security clearance (e.g., Secret/Top Secret) or eligibility.
- Experience with simulation environments, telemetry, and lab equipment.
- MS or PhD in engineering.
