About the Role Pearson VUE is seeking a temporary, part-time Test Administrator for our South Burlington, VT test center. The role focuses on secure exam delivery and delivering superior customer service in a calm, professional environment.

What You'll Do

  • Comply with testing procedures and strictly adhere to company policies using careful judgment.
  • Check in testing candidates, verify identification, and explain the exam process.
  • Proctor/invigilate candidates during testing.
  • Troubleshoot with internal departments to fix technical issues.
  • Complete light housekeeping duties such as vacuuming floors and sanitizing keyboards after each candidate.
  • Other duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 1 year customer service experience preferred.
  • Experience proctoring or invigilating exams highly preferred.
  • Must be flexible in work hours and days.
  • Beginner to intermediate experience in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Must be able to sit for long periods of time and escort candidates to and from testing room.
  • Must be able to bend, stoop and lift up to 20 lbs with reasonable accommodation.
  • Must be comfortable in a quiet testing environment, able to hear soft voices, and see details from a distance.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Starting pay is $17.75 per hour; eligible for accrued paid sick time.
  • This is a temporary, part-time position through the end of October 2026.
  • Schedule: 16 to 24 hours per week, with 2 to 4 Saturdays per month, typically 2:00 PM to 8:30 PM; schedules are available at least 2 weeks in advance.
