Job title: Tesorero

About the Role The Tesorero will coordinate with the Security area to open the vault daily according to service requirements, and will be responsible for the strict control of entrance and withdrawal of valuables. This role also manages vault keys and codes, safeguards remittances inside the vault, and ensures accurate daily reconciliations and reporting.

What You'll Do

  • Coordinate with Security to open the vault daily according to services required.
  • Maintain strict control of entry/withdrawal of cash and follow dual-control processes for each event.
  • Manage vault keys and codes; custody of remittances inside the vault.
  • Keep monetary material organized by customer and ready for processing; coordinate with the Processes Supervisor to process material as per client requirements without delaying services.
  • Reconcile monetary material with supporting documentation; sign and file Vault Report at end of shift.
  • Present end-of-shift vault balances by bank, currency, denomination and quality; report any anomaly immediately to supervisor.
  • Monitor access to the area and maintain visitor log; ensure security alarms are connected and functional; report failures with documentation.
  • Maintain 5S practices and keep area orderly and clean; use and safeguard operational material.
  • Perform physical and system transfers of assets between Treasury and Vault/Processing area; send daily reconciliation report to Internal Operations Manager.
  • Adhere to scheduled vault closings and attend client visits for physical counts with required documentation.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all company operations; may substitute for any Processing Supervisor when needed.
  • Verify posting of transfer vouchers and perform daily checks of vault values; manage shift handovers.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience in vault operations, cash handling, security and access control.
  • Strong attention to detail, integrity, and ability to follow dual-control procedures.
  • Ability to work on-site, follow procedures, and maintain documentation and reporting.
  • Good communication and ability to report anomalies promptly.

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of 5S and workplace organization; familiarity with alarm systems and security equipment.
