About the Role The Territory Manager, Surgical Workplace (SW) will be responsible for the sales and support of Getinge Surgical Workplace Products, including Surgical Lights, Booms, Tables, and assists with Video Integration for both existing and potential customers in the assigned territory. The role focuses on increasing Getinge market share, developing strong customer relationships, and managing the full sales cycle from planning to post-sales support to drive profitability and customer satisfaction.
What You'll Do
- Meet or exceed sales targets while maintaining expenses within the assigned territory.
- Develop strategic sales plans for all opportunities and manage all sales cycle events.
- Monitor and update forecasted sales data weekly with accuracy; provide ROI or business case information to justify purchasing Getinge Surgical Workplace products.
- Manage forecasting, closing and post-sales support of all territory business; promote all Getinge product offerings, training programs, and service contracts.
- Market to installed base for upgrades or replacements; target new customers to replace competitor installed base.
- Lead follow-up, sales planning, and territory management; identify required resources to position Getinge effectively; report opportunities to Regional Sales Manager.
- Coordinate product demonstrations, installation and post-sales support; monitor customer issues and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Balance time/resources to achieve territory objectives; participate in regional/national trade shows as required; foster teamwork and collaboration across the organization.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; minimum 3 years medical device/capital sales (including direct selling to physicians and hospitals) or 4 years relevant clinical experience with sales aptitude; OR 4 years in roles building client relationships, problem-solving, and strategic planning with sales focus. OR 4 years of experience demonstrating strong sales aptitude if a direct medical device background is not present.
- Valid driver's license; OR operating room (OR) experience preferred.
- Demonstrated track record of meeting/exceeding goals; strong business acumen; ability to prioritize in a matrix environment and work in a team selling approach.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook; CRM familiarity.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills; ability to influence middle management and external customers on technical and new business solutions.

- Experience in sales within surgical or hospital settings; OR experience.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: base 80-88K; total compensation up to 130K-138K with base and at-plan incentive depending on experience/location.
