About this role
What you will enjoy doing
- You will generate sales within an assigned territory by managing both existing accounts and developing new customers
- Focus on achieving your sales quota through new business development and by strengthening long-term customer relationships
- In addition, you will promote sales and provide ongoing account service to assigned and potential customers, both onsite and by phone
- Improve gross profit and overall profitability by fully understanding and positioning the company’s value propositions
- You will support and implement marketing plans, promotions, and new product launches within your territory
- Secure long-term relationships by negotiating product supply agreements with key customers
- Maintain an active list of target accounts by generating, qualifying, and following up on new business leads while monitoring competitive activity
- Also, you will ensure complete and accurate account setup and pricing data, and demonstrate products to new account customers as needed
What makes you great
- You have a High-school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree is preferred to provide a strong educational foundation
- Five to seven (5-7) years of outside sales experience preferred, ensuring a robust background in sales
- Experience in industrial gases is an asset, enhancing your expertise in the field
- Welding experience is preferred, offering additional industry-specific skills
