About the Role LIU Pharmacy’s Division of Pharmaceutical Sciences invites applications for two full-time tenure-track faculty positions in Pharmaceutics at the Assistant/Associate/Professor level. The roles encompass scholarly research, teaching in the graduate pharmaceutics program (MS & PhD) and in the Pharm.D. program, and service within the College. These are 12-month positions with opportunities to develop extramural funding and collaborate with interdisciplinary centers and industry partners.

What You'll Do

• Conduct and publish high-impact research in pharmaceutics with potential for extramural funding.
• Teach in the graduate pharmaceutics program (MS & PhD) and the Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) program.
• Engage in service and collaborate with LIU’s centers (Williamson Institute for Pharmacometrics, Zupko Institute for Systems Pharmacology and Pharmacogenomics, Lachman Institute for Pharmaceutical Analysis, Natoli Institute for Industrial Pharmacy Research and Development) and external partners.
• Contribute to translational pharmaceutics and product-focused research programs; work toward clinical/industry impact.
• Collaborate with researchers on- and off-campus and seek funding.

What We're Looking For

• Ph.D. in Pharmaceutics; B.S. in Pharmacy desirable.
• Prior teaching experience preferred (TA, Instructor, Lecturer).
• Track record of scholarly research and peer-reviewed publications; potential for extramural funding.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate across disciplines and develop translational research.

Nice to Have

• Multidisciplinary experience or interest in translational pharmaceutics.
• Experience with data analytics/AI in drug discovery.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range: $115,000 – $120,000
