Job Summary
- We are seeking a skilled and results-driven Engineer to oversee the design, development, and execution of construction projects.
- The ideal candidate will ensure that projects meet technical specifications, quality standards, safety regulations, and budgetary requirements while delivering sustainable and cost-effective engineering solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage, design, develop, and maintain sustainable engineering projects and infrastructure.
- Carry out technical and feasibility studies and prepare designs and blueprints in line with project specifications.
- Assess project risks, material requirements, labour needs, and cost estimates.
- Provide technical guidance and develop practical solutions to emerging project challenges.
- Supervise, mentor, and coordinate project staff while liaising with clients, contractors, consultants, and other stakeholders.
- Monitor project progress, track milestones, and prepare regular project status reports.
- Prepare and maintain technical files, project records, drawings, and other required documentation.
- Manage project budgets, procure equipment and materials, and ensure efficient resource utilization.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or HND in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Relevant professional experience in Electrical engineering or infrastructure project management.
- Strong knowledge of engineering design principles, construction methods, and project management practices.
- Proficiency in relevant engineering software, such as AutoCAD and other design or project management tools.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, budgeting, and organisational skills.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver projects within agreed timelines and budgets.
