About the Role A part-time temporary position in Regent University's School of Communication & Arts Scene Shop. The role supports a 4-show theatre season by assisting in set construction, scenic painting, and prop creation, while maintaining a safe, clean workspace and supporting show installs and strikes. What You'll Do
- Assist in set construction, scenic painting, and prop creation for a 4-show theatre season
- Maintain a safe and clean workspace
- Assist in show install and show strike
- Perform tool and equipment maintenance as necessary What We're Looking For
- Ability to follow instructions and work within a team
- Basic knowledge of safety equipment/tools and their uses
- Basic set construction and scenic painting techniques
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods, push loaded carts, and lift up to 25 pounds
