Temporary SUN Activity Leader
About this role
Metropolitan Family Service is seeking a Summer School Activity Leader to lead fun and engaging classes for a diverse group of students in arts & crafts, sports, academic enrichment, and STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math). Each class will consist of approximately 15 students grouped by grade level. Class materials and supplies will be provided. Location is Parklane Elementary. Position dates are July 27 to August 14, with additional training and orientations the week of July 20. Under general supervision of the SUN Site Manager, SUN Activity Leaders are responsible for designing, planning and teaching class activities. SUN programming enriches students lives by offering fun, hands-on activities that inspire learning and build skills for healthy lifestyles. Our goal is to provide a safe, positive learning environment that recognizes the potential of each child.
