About the Role The Men's Lacrosse Assistant will support the program's administrative and logistical needs for the men's lacrosse team, including travel, scheduling, budget monitoring, and facility coordination, to assist the head coach and student-athletes. The role also involves on-field duties during practices and games and requires strong organizational skills and knowledge of NCAA regulations. What You'll Do
- Serve as liaison between the lacrosse program and internal/external stakeholders, such as the athletic department, academic support staff, medical staff, alumni, and parents.
- Monitor and manage operating budgets, tracking expenditures.
- Assist the recruiting coordinator with mailers, communication, and managing on-campus recruitment visits and events.
- Support academic development of student-athletes and manage team-related events (alumni weekends and official visits).
- Assist with on-field practice and game operations.
- Coordinate and arrange team travel, including transportation, lodging, and meals for away games and tournaments.
- Other duties as assigned. What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's Degree required; previous experience in a varsity collegiate lacrosse program preferred.
- Problem-solving ability and the capacity to identify issues and implement effective solutions in a fast-paced environment.
- Leadership: ability to motivate, inspire, and manage teams effectively.
- Strong computer, communication, and time management skills.
- Knowledge of lacrosse, NCAA and conference rules and regulations, and athletic administration principles.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Effective verbal and written communication; strong interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with staff, athletes, and stakeholders.
- Technical proficiency with Microsoft Office and sports-specific software. Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $64,000 per year.
