Job title: Temporary Chef Assistant / Incentives Assistant
About the Role We are hiring Temporary Chef Assistants for a short-term event. The roles include assisting with food preparation, supporting kitchen operations, and helping with cleanup and post-event breakdown. The schedule covers Tuesday, April 7 (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM) and Wednesday, April 8 (8:00 AM – 12:00 PM) with post-event cleaning.
What You'll Do
- Assist with food preparation and cutting/preparing meat
- Support kitchen operations during the event
- Wash dishes before and after product demonstrations
- Help with cleanup and post-event breakdown
- For Incentives Assistant: assemble gift bags, pack materials for shipments, assist at local events with setup, unloading, and registration
- Demonstrate products while ensuring a clean and sanitary kitchen; serve food to guests; follow all sanitary and hand-washing protocols
- Polish products for clean presentation
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Lift up to 25 lbs (chef duties); lift up to 50 lbs (incentives duties); stand for long periods
What We're Looking For
- Ability to assist with food preparation and kitchen operations during events
- Comfortable with product demonstrations, dishwashing, serving guests, and post-event cleanup
- Capacity to lift up to 25 lbs (chef duties) and up to 50 lbs (incentives duties); ability to stand for long periods
- Willingness to perform other duties as assigned and follow sanitary/hand-washing protocols
- Availability on Tuesday, April 7 and Wednesday, April 8; reliable and punctual
