About this role
About the Role Temporary Chef Assistant for a short-term event. You will support food preparation and kitchen operations during the event, assist with product demonstrations, and help with post-event cleanup and breakdown. This role also includes supporting incentives tasks such as assembling gift bags and packing materials. What You'll Do
- Assist the chef with product demonstrations, ensuring a clean and sanitary kitchen.
- Cut and prepare foods (including meat).
- Wash dishes before and after product demonstrations.
- Serve food to guests at demonstrations.
- Follow all sanitary and hand-washing protocols.
- Polish products to ensure a clean and shiny presentation.
- Assist with cleaning, setup, and post-event breakdown.
- Assemble gift bags for events (Temporary Incentives Assistant).
- Help pack materials to be shipped to conferences.
- Assist at local events with setup, unloading supplies, registration, etc.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Capable of lifting up to 25 lbs (Chef Assistant tasks) and up to 50 lbs (Incentives-related tasks).
- Ability to stand for long periods of time. What We're Looking For
- Availability for the scheduled event dates and times (April 7, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM and April 8, 8:00 AM–12:00 PM).
- Physical ability to lift up to 25 lbs for Chef Assistant tasks and up to 50 lbs for incentives-related tasks.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
