Job Profile Title Temporary Employee - Non-Exempt
Job Description Summary The temporary Academic Support Coordinator in the Electrical and Systems Engineering department will support Master's programs by performing operational, academic, and student-facing tasks. These range from student presentations, degree auditing, Advance Registration clearances, and admissions support.

Responsibilities

Coordinate administrative aspects of Master's programs. Advise Master's students on academic programs and provide support with course registration and curriculum planning.

Support the Master's programs in admissions related operational tasks including but not limited to responding to prospective students, reviewing applicants in Slate, and other admissions tasks as assigned.

Perform related duties, as assigned.
Qualifications
-
Bachelor's degree and a minimum of two years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to prioritize and multitask, excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills, strong attention to detail, and strong organizational skills. Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and Google Suite.

Previous experience in advising and leadership development preferred. Experience in the following areas a plus: work with student populations, work in higher education, interest and knowledge regarding international affairs and current events.
