Temenos Data Migration Specialist

In the context of the bank’s strategic project to transform the Wealth Management Core Banking platform, the IT team in Chennai is growing. A Senior developer in Chennai is required to work on projects requiring T24 experience and Java solutions. The objective will be to customize T24 product and to develop several key and critical interfaces around the core banking system.

Responsibilities

• Work efficiently as part of an international multi-disciplinary team to drive the project to completion.
• Strong and extensive experience of working in a complex Data migration project using Temenos DM Tool.
• Actively participate on workshops with Client/Legacy Team and working on Technical Solutions.
• Engage in data mapping sessions for finalizing the mapping from Legacy system for Transact Data Migration.
• Owning the Coordination between Transact team, Extraction team and Client.
• Conduct joint reviews of the data mapping sheets incorporate review comments from Legacy system.
• Managing the risks identified during migration process and provide Mitigations.
• Preparation & Maintenance of Data Migration Sheets of all Transact tables and Schema Definitions of TRANSACT DM Utilities.
• Performance tuning on the Load process to reduce the overall Migration timing.
• Develop Migration related programs/scripts to support DM activities for Loadings and Reconciliation Extract.
• Reporting the Validation errors to the Stake Holders in regular Interval.
• Resolve queries regarding extraction from reconciliation team related to the requirements for Migration.
• Experience with TAFJ release, Design Studio & Devops for handling the data migration related components.
• Analysis of Issues raised during the Migration and provide solution/workaround to solve the issue.
• Experience with Data Migration in Transact End to End implementation is preferred.

Skills

• Must have

• 7-12 years of experience (10+ preferred)

• Good Understanding of Banking related to Wealth Management/Private banking.

• Proficiency in Temenos Data Migration tool (DM Tool)

• Hands on experience in Info basic, L3 Java extensibility & Python scripting

• Hands on experience in R20 and above Transact releases

• Proficiency in Transact Core Banking modules, TPH, Wealth Securities

• Strong critical thinker with problem solving aptitude

• Excellent written and oral communication skills

• TAFJ runtime, JBase

• ETL

• Infobasic & L3 Java programming

• Temenos Data Migration Tool

• Wildfly/jBoss, PostgreSQL, MySQL/MSSQL

• Cloud platform and containerized architecture, Docker/K8s, KEDA/Prometheus

• Contributing to open source projects

• NoSQL experience

• Exposure to Enterprise Architecture

• Bachelor degree or equivalent
