About the Role Be a problem solver, trusted advisor, and partner to the people and businesses in KeyBank communities. As a Teller, you provide excellent client service in-person by welcoming both new and existing clients to the Bank and assisting them with their account transactions and servicing needs, including identifying and resolving client servicing issues. Tellers, through conversations with clients, listen to uncover financial needs and transition clients to a banker to have a deeper financial wellness conversation. This role is based at our Cazenovia, NY branch and offers opportunities to help clients move forward in their financial journey.
What You'll Do
- Embody a strong client experience culture, being present with every client and teammate and realizing the impact we can have on their day, personally, professionally, and financially.
- Assume responsibility for the efficient, effective, and accurate performance of teller functions in an in-person branch setting.
- Proactively work to identify and resolve client servicing issues, escalating as needed.
- Listen for clues for financial wellness opportunities during conversations and transition clients to a banker for deeper financial wellness conversations.
What We're Looking For
- Strong customer service orientation and ability to build relationships with clients in a branch setting.
- Ability to work onsite in a retail banking environment and handle teller functions accurately.
- Effective communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
- Interest in helping clients identify financial needs and connect them with a banker for broader financial wellness.
