About this role
The client is a UK company that provides professional photographic studio services and support for aspiring models. This is an outbound B2C telesales role working warm leads only: the agent contacts people who have registered an interest in modelling, explains the studio service clearly and honestly, and converts suitable enquiries into properly confirmed studio appointments. No prior knowledge in the modelling industry is required: the client provides full training on its service, pricing, pitch, booking rules and systems before agents take live calls.
We are looking for proven telesales ability, excellent English and a strong compliance mindset. Once trained, the agent works in the client's booking system, follows a structured daily calling routine and an approved pitch, and is measured against an agreed monthly target of qualifying bookings (appointment recorded, deposit successfully paid, terms agreed and record complete). Quality, compliance and data security carry the same weight as volume: a target never justifies misleading a customer, bypassing consent or mishandling data.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Make outbound calls to warm leads (people who have already registered their interest; no cold calling) following a structured daily calling routine and a minimum call-time standard.
- Review each lead's details and previous notes before calling, and prepare the relevant information (for example, the nearest studio location and travel options).
- Deliver a client-approved sales pitch in a natural, conversational way, ask qualifying questions and listen actively to understand each customer's interest and situation.
- Explain the client's service, prices and conditions clearly and honestly, without overpromising, and handle questions and objections without pressuring the customer.
- When the applicant is under 18, speak with the parent or legal guardian and make sure the right adult is involved before any sales discussion or payment.
- Read booking terms and conditions word for word, obtain the customer's agreement, and guide them through a secure online payment link to pay a deposit and confirm the appointment.
- Send booking confirmations and follow-up messages using approved voicemail, text and email templates, and confirm the customer has received them before ending the call.
- Keep accurate, factual notes for every call attempt and outcome, and schedule callbacks at specific agreed times.
- Escalate complaints, appointment changes, safeguarding concerns and unusual cases to the client's UK team.
- Follow strict data-protection and security rules at all times (individual login on an approved office workstation, no personal phones on the calling floor, no copying or sharing of customer data).
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- Demonstrable outbound telesales or appointment-setting experience, with evidence of working to and meeting targets.
- Clear, fluent spoken English, strong listening skills and a professional telephone manner, comfortable speaking with UK consumers and with parents of young applicants.
- Basic computer skills and confidence using a browser, a customer booking/records system, email and an internet phone or softphone.
- Reliable attendance, organised follow-up and a calm, professional response to questions or rejection.
- Sound judgement when dealing with parents, children, vulnerable customers and confidential information.
- Willing to follow an approved pitch, read terms and disclosures word for word, and adhere strictly to data-security and payment-handling rules.
- Able to commit consistently to UK customer hours on-site.
Preferred Qualifications (Optional):
- Experience calling UK or other European consumers.
- Experience with B2C appointment setting that includes taking a deposit or guiding customers through a payment link.
- Experience in compliance-heavy sales where mandatory disclosures or terms are read verbatim.
- Awareness of data privacy (Philippine Data Privacy Act, UK GDPR) and secure card- payment handling.
Educational Requirements & Certifications:
- No specific degree requirement; demonstrable telesales experience and a track record of meeting targets are the primary qualifications. Knowledge the modelling/photography industry is not required.
- Sales or customer-contact training, data privacy training or PCI DSS awareness are an advantage.
