Job Description
To support the implementation and monitoring of Workplace Health & Safety procedures, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and contributing to a safe and healthy working environment. Responsibilities include risk assessments, internal audits, safety inspections, safety records, fire drills and workplace safety initiatives. To ensure Workplace Health & Safety activities, namely:
- Support the implementation and monitoring of occupational health and safety procedures, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations;
- Conduct workplace risk assessments, with particular focus on office ergonomics, working conditions and employee well-being;
- Carry out workplace safety inspections and support internal audits;
- Support the implementation of preventive and corrective actions to address identified risks;
- Assist in the organization of emergency procedures, fire drills and evacuation plans;
- Monitor workplace safety equipment, emergency exits and safety signage;
- Organize and deliver health and safety training and awareness initiatives;
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date occupational health and safety documentation, records and reports.
Candidate’s Profile:
- Valid Portuguese Professional Title for Senior Occupational Safety Technician – Level 6 (Técnico Superior de Segurança no Trabalho) – Mandatory;
- Internships or relevant academic projects in Occupational Health & Safety are considered a plus;
- Good knowledge of Portuguese occupational health and safety legislation;
- Good organizational and planning skills, with the ability to manage priorities;
- Good communication and interpersonal skills;
- Proactive attitude and willingness to learn;
- Team spirit and ability to work collaboratively;
- Proficiency in MS Office applications;
- Portuguese proficiency (C2) and English proficiency (C1);
- Training Certification (CAP/CCP – Certificado de Competências Pedagógicas) is considered an advantage;
- Driver’s license is considered an advantage;
- Availability to work on-site (WFO).
