Job title: Technology Support Engineer
About the Role
ExxonMobil Czech Republic is seeking an entry level Technology Support Engineer to serve as the frontline lubricant technology contact for customers, distributors, field sales and partners. This role requires a solid understanding of our product offers, applications, properties, specifications and documentation to provide timely, accurate technical information and guidance.
What You'll Do
- Provide timely and accurate responses to inquiries from existing and prospective customers, distributors, and EM staff
- Provide expert product technical and application advice to support customer retention and improve margins
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of systems to enable rapid response
- Enhance the value of marketing and sales initiatives by providing customer and business partner support, including market insights where appropriate
- Provide sales leads to the appropriate sales channel and maximize upsell opportunities on Flagship and Premium products through technical guidance
- Record customer complaints via the Technical Help Desk and assist in resolution
- Maintain records of interactions through data capture tools for analysis and insights on customer/business segments
- Maintain familiarity with and support updating of online self-help tools to aid queries
- Provide technical proofreading of translated marketing materials in local language as needed
- Provide technical training internally and externally as required
What We're Looking For
- Academic qualification: Bachelor or Masters level graduate, preferably Mechanical and/or Chemical Engineering; Chemist
- Work Experience: 2-3 years in roles with an applied engineering activity is preferable
- Familiarity with machinery resources, manufacturing and transportation industries and processes
- Customer focus, service delivery oriented
- Stress resistant, effective in an operational environment
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, team working, and coordination capacities
- Problem solving
- Self-motivated and independent
- Ability to multi-task
- Comfortable working in a computer/systems desktop environment
Nice to Have
- Lubricant industry experience or related technical data familiarity is a plus
- Open to recent graduates for entry-level opportunity
