Job title: Technology Strategy Manager / Senior Manager - Resources (Energy, Utilities)
About the Role Accenture's Technology Strategy practice seeks a Manager/Senior Manager to partner with Resource industry clients (Utilities or Energy) to define and execute technology-driven business strategies. You will serve as a trusted advisor to the C-suite, shaping technology's role in growth and leading transformative programs that leverage emerging technologies, operating models, and enterprise architecture to capture value.
What You'll Do
- Serve as a trusted advisor to the C-suite, defining strategy at the intersection of technology and business and articulating a compelling technology vision for the Resources industry.
- Shape how technology drives business strategy to capture market share; identify and prioritize value creation opportunities based on a detailed assessment of the current technology footprint.
- Drive strategic opportunities that integrate innovative technology solutions into broader business transformations; develop operating models and business cases leveraging disruptive technologies.
- Lead the creation of thought leadership assets and validate AI-assisted insights with judgment, experience, and domain knowledge; use AI tools to accelerate research, synthesis, modeling, and scenario analysis.
- Lead and mentor teams, build strong client relationships (including early C-suite engagement), support business development, and facilitate consensus for action.
- Travel as needed.
What We're Looking For

Manager: minimum 1 year of strategy consulting experience; at least 5 years in operating model strategy, M&A, tech value and cost take-out, or technology-driven revenue growth; at least 5 years writing business cases; at least 2 years leading small teams; Bachelor’s degree.

Senior Manager: minimum 3 years of strategy consulting; at least 6 years in at least two of: operating model strategy, technology in M&A, tech value and cost take-out, or technology-driven revenue growth; at least 6 years writing business cases; at least 5 years leading large teams; Bachelor’s degree.

Bonus Points: comfortable using AI tools for research, synthesis, and analysis; ability to critically evaluate AI outputs; understanding of data limitations, bias, and model risk; MBA or equivalent graduate degree; strong communication and presentation skills; ability to lead in driving insights using data models and visualization tools; track record of mentoring junior team members.
Nice to Have
- MBA or equivalent graduate degree and demonstrated ability to develop junior members for more responsibility.
- Experience applying AI-enabled research and data visualization to client work.
