About the Role Technology Strategy Manager/Senior Manager for Financial Services provides strategic technology guidance to transform client businesses. You will partner with C-suite leaders to articulate a technology vision that blends industry expertise with practical execution, enabling growth, efficiency, and competitive advantage.

What You'll Do

• Serve as trusted advisor to the C-suite, defining strategy at the intersection of technology and business.
• Articulate a compelling technology vision with industry and functional expertise.
• Shape the role of technology in business strategies to capture market share.
• Identify and prioritize value creation opportunities based on analysis of current technology footprint.
• Drive strategic opportunities that incorporate innovative technology solutions into broader business transformations.
• Develop operating models and business cases leveraging disruptive technologies.
• Lead the creation of well-articulated thought leadership assets presenting innovative insights and recommendations.
• Pressure-test leadership assumptions, including AI-generated insights; validate AI-assisted analysis with logic and domain knowledge.
• Use AI tools to accelerate research, synthesis, modeling, and scenario analysis.
• Exercise critical judgment to know when AI outputs are directionally useful vs unreliable.
• Lead teams, manage client relationships, including developing C-suite relationships; act as a trusted advisor.
• Support business development by understanding how to architect and position proposals and SOWs.
• Facilitate to drive results and gain consensus for action; address difficult client conversations and drive meaningful outcomes.
• Travel as needed.

Qualifications for Manager: Minimum 1 year of strategy consulting at a consulting firm; minimum 5 years in operating model strategy, M&A, tech value and cost take-out, or tech-driven revenue growth; minimum 5 years writing business cases; minimum 2 years leading or managing small teams; Bachelor’s degree.

Qualifications for Senior Manager: Minimum 3 years of strategy consulting; minimum 6 years in at least two of operating model strategy, technology in M&A, tech value cost take-out, or technology driven revenue growth; minimum 6 years writing business cases; minimum 5 years leading or managing large teams; Bachelor’s degree.

Bonus Points: Comfortable using AI tools for research, synthesis, and analysis; ability to evaluate AI outputs critically; understanding of data limitations, bias, and model risk. MBA or equivalent graduate degree preferred. Demonstrated critical thinking, ability to mentor juniors, strong communication and presentation skills, and experience driving insights using data models and visualization tools.
