Technology Risk Manager / Assistant Vice President

About the Role Join AIG's Technology Risk and Controls (TRC) team as a Technology Risk Manager / Assistant Vice President responsible for driving IT regulatory compliance across APAC. You will assess new and updated IT regulations for gaps, create action plans with stakeholders, monitor remediation, and apply learnings to future regulations. You will also facilitate the annual IT Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA), manage country forum calls, and oversee issues across APAC. What You'll Do

• Manage IT Regulatory Compliance: perform regulatory assessments for new/updated regulations, identify gaps, draft action plans, obtain senior leadership approval, monitor progress, and escalate issues; coordinate regulatory inquiries for technology and cyber.
• Facilitate the annual IT RCSA: partner with IT and the global TRC team to assess controls, drive action plans addressing root causes, monitor progress, escalate issues as needed.
• Coordinate monthly TRC Zone & Country Forums: moderate calls with country teams, prepare presentations and updates, follow up on post-engagement actions.
• Monitor and track issues across APAC: document issues, assess risk, support risk acceptance processes for APAC issues and APAC-driven requests, and assist with Key Risk Indicators (KRIs).
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure timely remediation and clear ownership across APAC. What We're Looking For
• Bachelor's Degree with experience in cyber and technology risk, control, and governance.
• Strong problem-solving and risk management skills; understanding of cyber and IT risk principles and best practices.
• Ability to manage multiple processes, action plans, and stakeholders simultaneously; effective leadership, communication, and negotiation.
• Ability to drive change through influence, clear written and spoken communication, and data-driven decision making.
• Active listening and collaboration/ facilitation skills; ability to draw conclusions and make decisions using data.
