About this role
Microsoft is hiring a Technology Consultant within its Industry Solutions Delivery (ISD) organization, based in Hyderabad, India (hybrid, 3 days/week in-office). ISD is Microsoft's global delivery organization of strategic sellers, engineers, data scientists and consultants who help Microsoft's largest customers execute digital and AI transformation using Microsoft Cloud and AI.
The role centers on designing and delivering GenAI and agentic solutions on Microsoft platforms such as Dynamics 365, Microsoft 365 Copilot, Power Platform and Azure. Responsibilities include embedding with customer stakeholders to translate ambiguous business needs into requirements and sprint deliverables, building POCs for agentic workflows (multi-step tasks, tool use, orchestration) and hardening them into production, owning delivery end-to-end from architecture through implementation, and identifying and mitigating AI-specific risks (data access, prompt injection, hallucinations, privacy, compliance, latency and cost). The consultant also supports deployment and live stabilization, builds evaluation strategies to measure output quality and safety, and produces reusable reference architectures, templates and documentation for customer teams.
Candidates need a bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, plus 15+ years of experience delivering enterprise-scale solutions on Microsoft platforms (Dynamics 365, M365 Copilot, Power Platform, Azure), including integration, security and deployment in customer environments. Preferred qualifications include hands-on delivery across the full lifecycle from requirements through post-go-live stabilization, experience with Copilot Studio and AI-assisted workflows, relevant Microsoft certifications, and familiarity with Agile/DevOps and CI/CD practices, especially for AI systems.
This is a full-time individual contributor role requiring less than 25% travel.
